Information

Your holiday destination:

Arguineguin and Patalavaca:
As a typical Canarian fishing village, it is more the home of many locals than a tourist destination. There are many bars and restaurants, the latter specializing in fresh fish caught on the same day. But you will also find restaurants with international cuisine. Tuesday is market day (the largest on the island). Arguineguín has 3 beaches and a port. A highlight is the newly (Sept. 2022) designed beach - Playa de Arguineguin with its white sandy beach, a seawater pool protected from the sea and a playground. Several beaches are within walking distance of the promenade, including the famous and beautiful Anfi Beach. The area of Arguineguin, Patalavaca, Puerto Rico and Mogan is considered to be the most weather and sun-safe area in Gran Canaria with temperatures averaging 22-24 degrees even in winter. But even in summer it rarely gets uncomfortably hot.

Puerto Rico:
Some of the activities on offer here are mostly centered around the beach and ocean. There is also a large mini golf course, the new Angry Birds Activity Park for the kids, a large shopping center with many shops, restaurants and bars. Behind the old shopping the new Mogan Mall, has been created with fantastic restaurants, bars and shops and supermarkets. You can go on many different boat trips from Puerto Rico harbor, deep sea fishing, dolphin safaris, pirate boats to take you around the island, glass boats to Puerto de Mogan and Arguineguin, submarine trips and much more. Next to Puerto Rico is the beautiful Amadores Beach, one of the most beautiful of all beaches in Gran Canaria. You can walk to Amadores Beach via the impressive promenade in around 20 minutes. A beach club, various bars and restaurants await you here. For children, teenagers and young people, the small water park is another highlight at Playa de Amadores. The "Amadores Fun Park" consists of an air cushion course. The course offers various air cushion climbing towers and also slide options from the air cushions down into the sea. Compared to the traditional water parks, this is a fun change.

Taurito:
Located between Puerto Rico and Puerto de Mogan. It is an oasis of calm and relaxation away from the usual mass tourism. The beach offers soft sand and calm waters with few currents. It is one of those beaches that are not overcrowded, where you can find balance and leave the stress of everyday life far behind. It offers all the necessary services to spend a nice day at the beach under the warm sun and calm waters. On the beach there are beach cafes, restaurants, bars and shops. The water park Lago Taurito behind the beach offers water fun for the whole family. A great location for a relaxing holiday. Puerto de Mogan - also called "Little Venice" because of the water canals that lead from the port to the town and the bridges over these canals, is one of the most beautiful places on Gran Canaria. The small, picturesque streets with many cafés and restaurants invite you to relax and enjoy.

Puerto de Mogan:
- also called "Little Venice" because of the water channels that lead from the harbor into the town and the bridges over these canals, is one of the most beautiful places on Gran Canaria. The small, picturesque streets with many cafes and restaurants invite you to relax and enjoy. Puerto de Mogan has a very beautiful beach, which with its golden brown sand is perfect for sunbathing. Here, too, you will find many cafes, restaurants and shops. If you would like to see the south coast from the sea, you can book the local ferry. It goes from Puerto de Mogan via Anfi, Puerto Rico to Arguineguin. The boat takes about 30 minutes to travel from Puerto Rico and about 60 minutes to Arguineguin. The boats have a glass bottom for your sea observation. Fridays are market days in Puerto de Mogan. Here you will find everything your heart desires, from Canarian products to souvenirs.
